Junior School Discovery Day on 16 May 2025

Windermere School is delighted to announce its upcoming Junior School Discovery Day on Friday, 16 May 2025, from 2.30pm to 4.00pm.

This event marks a significant milestone as the Junior School relocates to Browhead Campus on Patterdale Road, uniting all pupils from pre-school to Sixth Form on a single site.

The Discovery Day offers prospective families, alumni, guests, and media representatives an exclusive opportunity to explore the newly renovated Junior School facilities. Attendees will experience guided tours led by current students, showcasing state-of-the-art classrooms, dedicated play areas, and enhanced Forest School spaces. The event will also feature interactive demonstrations, musical performances on the terrace, opportunities to meet the Head and teaching staff and a ribbon cutting ceremony by MP Tim Farron.

Headmaster Frank Thompson expressed his enthusiasm: "Bringing our Junior and Senior Schools together on the Browhead Campus enriches our community and enhances the educational journey for all our students. We eagerly anticipate welcoming families to our Discovery Day to experience first-hand the exciting developments at Windermere School."
